Birthday

A new year has come and gone and I was able to celebrate with the most
important and amazing people in my life. I actually had a chance to celebrate
the whole weekend and it was just amazing. Today so much love and good
wishes poured from my friends and family on my Facebook page, it was
just so awesome. And you may think.. oh well Facebook reminds you of
peoples birthdays... true.. but if you don't want to you don't have to take
the time and leave a comment.. right? So the fact that many of my friends
and family took the time to wish me a Happy Birthday just made the day
even more special. So happy.

On another note.. I had some really good sushi in Mexico... I just wish I
could take a back stage pass and see how they make everything. So Yummy!
After, as a dessert we had some yogurt ice cream... oh my goodness.. that's
another awesome treat. In short, I had an awesome day at work and a great
day over all. One of the best birthdays that I can remember. Thanks to everyone
that made this days so special.

Beautiful day today.. unfortunately Spring Break comes to an end and
hard work lies ahead. As soon as we go back to school TAKS will be the
main focus and it can get tiring very fast.
Today I will be celebrating my birthday with hubby's family.. we will be
going out to dinner later on today and have a good time :) I can't believe
I'm so old already.. the good thing is I don't feel old in spirit so I guess
that makes a big difference. BTW my birthday is on Monday :)

And I leave you with a pretty picture, since everything is always better with a pic.

Attitude

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.”
